Sunday Stuff is our “all age” community and we love the added dimension that children bring.
Sunday stuff has a routine that follows the weeks of the month. Each week has an “all ages” component and then the gathering usually divides into pre-school children, primary aged children, tweens and adults. The “all age” time is a major strength of Sunday Stuff. We have learnt how to sing, pray, tell stories, share communion and play games in age inclusive ways.
Adults at Sunday Stuff experience our “7 ways” via hot topics, speakers, liturgy, workshops, contemplation, walking the prayer labyrinth and other Spiritual Practices.
The children’s gatherings during Sunday Stuff are vibrant and engaging where simple age appropriate spiritual practices are done each week and changed each term. (You would be amazed how well young children can pray, walk the labyrinth or excel at internet “slack-tivism”) Each year we follow a loose structure that includes lots of bible engagement, times of discovery, gardening, cooking, playground, park visits, multi-media use and a justice fund raising project.
Sunday stuff starts at 10am with morning tea and finishes by 12 noon. Sunday Stuff does not meet during the school holidays - except Easter.
