Sunday Stuff is a gathering of Christian people who pray, worship, learn from the Bible and fellowship together. There are no requirements to conform to a specific set of beliefs, but the gathering is centred on the life and teachings of Jesus. The emphasis is on meeting people's spiritual needs in a way that is focused on the life and teachings of Jesus.
Sunday Stuff is very friendly for families with young children, part of the time each Sunday is set aside so that everyone, no matter their age and experience, share together in an authentic way. Children specific spiritualities (Kid's Stuff) runs from 10:30am-11:30am, with groups for pre-school and early primary ages. The group help children develop their own spirituality and an understanding of Christian belief and tradition.
Activities at Sunday Stuff have a variety of formats: group work-shopping, individual and group prayer, meditations, presentations, reflections, group singing, art activities and open discussions are some examples. The program has lots of variety, whilst making sure that the themes of Jesus life and teachings are central and are engaged with depth. Participants are encouraged to learn spiritualities and beliefs that are immediately useful and applicable in everyday life. Sunday Stuff participates informally in the emerging church movement, is an example of Messy Church and is regarded as a fresh expression of Christianity.

If you would like an introduction and explanation before checking us out, contact Olivia MacLean (oliviam@solacechurch.org.au).
Joining is a simple matter of letting us know your intentions and making sure you are on a mailing list of some kind so that we can keep you informed. Access to playgroup areas is only for those with current Working With Children cards; we'll facilitate your children's participation and enjoyment.
